At the very first moment after power on, the machine should show the
digital-notion of cryptic "model name" like "KN01" or "KN02-CA". It
might help you. According to pmax mail-list archive following models
are known to us.

KN01 DS3100 PMIN 2100
KN01 DS3100 PMAX 3100
KN02-AA DS5000 3MAX 5000/200
KN02-BA DS5000_100 3MIN 5000/1xx - xx = 20, 25, 33
KN03-AA DS5000_300 3MAX+ 5000/240 & 5900 & 5900/40
KN230 DS5100 MIPSMATE 5100
KN220-A DS5500 MIPSFAIR-2 5500
KN02-CA DSMAXINE MAXine 5000/xx - xx = 20, 25, 33
KN04 R4_5000_100 R4000 3MIN 5000/150
KN05 R4_5000_300 R4000 3MAX+ 5000/260 & 5900/60

RZ23L is 120MB SCSI. It's a slow drive, it would be better to throw it
away.
