Okay.  Your PMAG-J is not supported by NetBSD, except temporarily as a
PROM console. The NetBSD kernel is going switch to the serial port as
as console, as soon as it initializes the serial port.

Have you done '>> set serial s'' to tell the PROM to use a serial
console even though you have a framebuffer?  If not, then what you're
seeing is PROM output on the RasterOps PMAG-J until the serial port is
configured, and then kernel-driven PROM output on the serial port.

Do 'set serial s' and put a serial terminal on the tty port, and
things should work much better.  You don't have to pull the
framebuffer, unless it's in a KMIN (5000/120, /125, /133, or /150).
