Please accept my apologies for the spurious messages, which occurred due
to a misconfigured News server at this site.  The news->Mail gateway has 
been disabled, so there should be no more incidents.

Actually, a "whois allied.com" would have provided you with better
contact information.  After all, this wasn't a problem relating to the
rollout of Windows 95, or Office 97. :-)
