I was getting the same link errors.  Recompiled config, re-
configed, and I've built the first kernel in a while off of
the current tree.  However, it did complain a bit, as you see
below.  I haven't tried to boot off of it yet, because I'm 
not at the machine right now, and I'm worried it might not
come back.

Need I worry about this?
