I now have a 3100 for testing.  I've created a symlink store ->
/usr/X11R6.3, and got startx to work using the R5 server (Arne's,
I guess) and the X11R63. clients.

But the colours are all off.  if I do xterm -bg red, Red shows up as
black.

It's not the hardware; green shows up as yellow (which has a red
component) and white shows as white, so all the colourmap bits can get
out to the monitor in some cases.

Has anyone else seen anything like this?
Is it, maybe, a bug  in setting the colormap?
