My work has been done on an R4000 (5000/50), but I have someone who has
just recently verified that I now appear to have the R4400 support working.
I've waiting for verification of some changes I've made that affect the
R4400, since I had some problems getting the R4000 working with those
changes as well.

I am getting very close to being ready to commit the r4k support that I
currently have. The initial r4k support only allows building a kernel for
the R2000/R3000 or R4000/R4400. The next step will be changing things so
that a single kernel will support both. I'm trying to be fairly certain
that I haven't broken the R2000/R3000 before I commit my changes.
