Hi, all.

Today I had a chance to boot NetBSD/pmax with DECsystem 5900, and
ended with fine result.

For those who donno DS5900, it is 19" rack mounted large beast in the
age of TurboChannel and MIPS processors in Digital's product history.
Our DS5900 is fully loaded with hardware gadgets; a bunch of 2GB 5" FH
RZ58, CD-ROM drive, 4mm DAT drive and TC FDDI option. Now I'm
confident with NetBSD/pmax can work well with such a large system.

Here is the boot message;

My report of NetBSD/pmax on DECsystem 5900 is the first and probably
the last, because the 5900s (we had two units: four computers in 2
racks) is to be moved away from our computer room in next few days.

As I experienced serial console weirdness during multi user mode I'm
going to track the issue farther with my DS5000/25.

Well, "it works!"
