There's a new snapshot on ftp.netbsd.org, in
~ftp/pub/NetBSD/arch/pmax/snapshot

This snapshot has
	* a patched 'ld' which works around the 256-Mbyte
	  section alignment bug in the previous snapshot

	* a patched 'as`  which works properly when defining
	  weak symbols.

and is otherwise built more-or-less exactly from NetBsd-current as of
about 1997-03-14.
