So, I've finally gotten around to mucking with my DECstation 3100
(HI KEVIN! :-), and something struck me (besides the monitor falling
on my foot, ouch)...

Isn't it a little silly to continue with the elf2aout step of the kernel
compile?  I mean, we have ELF and ECOFF support in the nlist C lib goo
now.. I can see keeping elf2ecoff around for network booting (which
is how I'm booting my pmax at the moment), but the a.out tool is totally
obsolete now...
