When should the next snapshot be expected to be released?  At the
moment, I have the november snapshot installed but compiling/linking
would appear to not be possible with this snapshot.  When I try to link
it complians something about all libraries need to be -fPIC.  I posted a
message about this once but only heard from someone that was having the
same problem.  So, if you have a solution to this linking problem or a
working snapshot I would love to hear from you.
