a friend of mine is considering buying a ds5000/20 for dirt cheap.  I'm
going to do a netbsd install for him, since he totally alcks facilities.
what I'm wondering is whether/how I can get the maxine to utilize a serial
console.  is there any trick to this?  I know the alpha's automagically 
sense taht there's no keybd or mouse and switch over, but I recall 
trying to use a serial console on a 5000/25 and being unsuccessful.
