I tried out Arne's X11R5 server, but I'm getting an error
when starting up:

% xinit

couldn't open /dev/mouse 

Fatal server error:
no screens found
X connection to :0.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).


I found a fix in the archives from a few years back, but
it doesn't seem to work under 1.2.  Am I missing something
simple?  I linked /dev/mouse to /dev/pm0 and I ran the
server as root to make sure I had permission...
