Yes, the serial port is supported. I've used it both as a serial console
and for a normal terminal session. I don't think I've tried it as a dial-in
line though.
There is one "minor" problem with the serial port on the 5000/25 though.
Since the 5000/25 only has a single SCC serial chip, the device minor
numbers for the two serial channels are 0 and 1. The tty devices created
by MAKEDEV use 2 and 3, which don't work on the 5000/25. You will need to
remove /dev/tty0 and manually create it using minor device 0.
