does the generation of crash dumps work for NetBSD/pmax (does'nt look like -
it says dumpung (untested) ... writes the numbers - 16 15 14 ... - but it goes
that quick that i could'nt have been written all the 16 mbyte to disk - and
after the reboot it says "no core dump"
and another thing - after recompiling the kernel yesterday after removing the
DEBUG option and adding the SYSV*, SHMMAXPGS, PROCFS and COMPAT_ULTRIX options
the kernel crashes at bootup - it says "panic: sema is NULL" - has this
something to do with the sysv ipc stuff ? - are the sysv ipc and the procfs
options working in NetBSD/pmax (because they aren't in the kernel config
files for the pmax)
and the last thing is the question about Xmfbpmax which says "cannot open pm"
on startup - this is on this machine - the pm0 device is there (freshly
remade) - do you have any idea about that - what was this with the link from
something to /dev/mouse - which link was it exactly and can this be the
problem ?
so a lot of thanks in advance
ok - here's the actual (crashing) kernel config file and the dmesg output:
