I believe that Chris is somewhat happy with his current scc driver, so
stealing it might not be a bad idea.   Either that or if you have some
time to kill, just sit down and figure out the existing driver and
make it work.   It can't be *that* difficult - it's just a damned scc
chip, after all!   :')
