I try to run ppp on NetBSD-1.1. I made the tty's (tty0 and tty1).
When I attempt to run pppd it gives the message:

pppd: Failed to open /dev/tty1: Device not configured

tty1 has major numer 16 minor number 2.

I have tried with 16,0 16,1  16,3 and gotten the same message.

Did I make the wrong device??
