A standard multisync monitor should work just fine.   If you're using
the on-board video, it's 1024x768, so get a monitor that can handle
that resolution.   The other video adapters are higher resolution, so
you'll need more expensive monitors to support them.

Your real problem will be finding a cable.   Your best bet is probably
to order that from DECdirect.   :'(
