Hello all,

I have tried both a pre-built X server and one I managed to make from
the sources, but when I run the startx script, (or xinit directly) I
get the X screen, the mouse cursur, then after severa seconds a
message saying "can't connect to DISPLAY :0" and the X server aborts
and I am back at the console. 


As I am no X expert I decided that someone may have a clue on this list. 
I am running on a 5000/240 with a cfb.
