Oh yeah, I seem to remember seeing something about that a while back.
This may make doing a quick fix a lot less painful.  I've copied the
alpha cdefs.h over to the pmax/include directory, and it will probably
be in tomorrow's sup.  I don't know if it'll entirely solve the
problem, but it should be an improvement.
