Actually, to clarify, that's:

"the machine-independent portions of the SCSI code, which are used by
every port except the pmax and the hp300."  8-)


Eventually, it'll hopefully be easy for you folks to take drivers from
the alpha port, which would get you 5394 code that's already been
converted...  Hopefully by the time you can use it, it'll actually
work reasonably well on the alpha...
