I assume you're talking about my complaints about the slow interactive
feel of tcsh in comparison to csh when accessed from the other side of
a SLIP connection.  I'd thought I'd responded to myself, but I guess I
haven't... I apologize for the delay.

Anyway, it looks like its a generic NetBSD problem with nothing to do
with the Pmax port.  I left a slip connection from my home machine
(486/33, NetBSD 1.0) going one day & connected to it from work & found
the same behavior -- terrible interactive feel in tcsh, just fine in
csh.
