You would be better off putting the boot blocks on the disk using
newfs.   Otherwise the disk label will be wrong.   To do this, put the
boot blocks in /usr/mdec on your Ultrix box (save the old ones!) and
just newfs the a partition on the disk you're trying to label.   I
realize this is a somewhat bizarre way to copy fifteen disk blocks
onto a disk, but it's probably the easiest way to go.   Otherwise, you
could port NetBSD disklabel...   :'|

BTW, the checksums on the boot blocks I sent you are correct.
