Well I'll try it on my 3100 if no one else gets around to it.

Unfortunately I mounted it in my rack and the monitor cable doesn't
stretch so I either have to build a serial cable or a longer monitor
cable... While these may seem like quick tasks, I've hardly had time
to water my cat in the mornings....

I'll see what I can do. :-)
