Hello,

Recently there was discussion about macro's (CPP and #defines) in the
PMAX assembler that would allow kernels to be built using either of an
a.our or ?coff tool chain.

Several people suggested that this shouldn't go into the main source
tree for asthetic reasons. To throw two bob into this, my experience
(for what if any value it has :-| ) suggests that such a `hack' should
be in the main source tree. I figure that NetBSD is ment to be about
portability and part of portability is the support of multiple cross
platform tool chains.
