Yeah, that's your ld-script.   Take a look in
/usr/local/lib/ld-scripts for something like mipsdecbsd.x.   Hack that
to prepend the underscores, and then tell ld to use it with ``-T
/usr/local/lib/ld-scripts/mipsdecbsd.x''.   You can also rebuild ld
with the new script built-in, but that's obviously more work.

BTW, it might be /usr/lib/ld-scripts, depending on how gld was
configured.   Probably in /usr/local, though.
