these changes add no new functionality but bring the tree in sync w/my
private copy.


	removed 'pseudo-device ite' from generic config (glass)
		as reported by Ted Mellon
	upgrade tree to reflect my private changes:     (glass)		
		make ultrix compat compile w/new fs stuff.
		integrate more stuff over from compat_sunos
		do nasty stackgap thing for compat_ultrix
		add COMPAT_ULTRIX to GENERIC.pmax config
	BUILD directions updated to reflect comments/corrections
