OK, I said I'd summarize the responses, and I've kept very quiet
for a couple of weeks... Here goes:

Notes:

Simon thinks it would be cool to have IPv6 on the pc532. Sorry to
say Simon, it's been done. 8-) If I can ever work up the nerve to
ask or figure out why gifconfig complains about an unimplemented
ioctl, I may hook it up to the 6bone. (i.e. I tried and failed.)

Phil notes that we should have something more stable than 1.4 before
we stop, and I fully agree, even though I have only rarely been
hit by the bugs that seem to stop others nearly in their tracks.
Phil thinks the pc532 is a lot faster than a VAX, and that is still
maintained, so we should too. Hard to argue with that... The VAX
started with a lot larger user base, but is probably the same size
now... 8-)

Lee said: "I'd like to know there's a modern OS for it to run. :)"
Lee, if you get it all ready to go, I will personally get you a
-current snapshot to run within the week, provided nobody beats me
to it.

Tom wondered if there was some way to spread the work. Not really,
but it's not that big a deal either. I just telnet into my box,
type make build, and come back in a couple of days. That's usually
about all it takes. Ian and Phil are very good at finishing a new
feature about the time I think I might want to learn more about
something and try to implement it. 8-) Tom, I haven't upgraded to
the auto-boot monitor yet, still on my todo list, but what I said
to Lee goes for you as well, just make a request, and wait about
a week.

In fact, if either of you (or anyone else) want to ship a drive
here, I'll build an image of your choice on it and ship it back.

Dave makes the point that pc532 support helps increase the body
count, keeping NetBSD well ahead of FreeBSD, OpenBSD, and Linux in
the port race. 8-) Good point.
