Hello all,

Got a call from Cabletron, they *don't* have these in stock.  They
where scrapped a while back as none wanted them, but they hadn't been
removed from the in-stock listing.  Sigh.

Evidently they still sell the EA419's (10BaseT only) as new.  I fear
to ask what the price will be if they want $150 for a used one.

To recap:
	EA419	10BaseT only
	EA414	10Base2 only
	EA412	10BaseT and 10Base2

(If this is wrong, someone please tell me).

Does anyone have an extra EA41x w/10BaseT ability that's gathering
dust?

Has anyone looked into the Asante' "Slotless Macintosh Ethernet
Controllers" line?  They've got a couple of different parts, one of
which plugs directly into a Mac DB-25 SCSI connector.  It seems that
I've seen these for about $80US.  One would hope that the command set
for these things wouldn't be too different from the EA41x's, but you
never can tell.
