IPv6 ?

Hello all,

I have 10.1 netbooting on my mono slab. IPv4 works fine.

IPv6 though behaves (in my opinion) strangely. My home networks are IPv4 DHCP and IPv6 SLAAC. On my other NetBSD machines (ex: sparc) I have:

rc.conf:

dhcpcd=YES
dhcpcd_flags=“-M6 le0”

I have changed this to xe0 for the NeXT machine and I get something like “ps_root_recvmsg network unreachable”.

I even tried pinging ff02::1%xe0 and the LL (fe80::) of my firewall - nothing. I can ping ::1 though.

Is there a known issue with this port and IPv6 ? Or is this perhaps a more general side effect of net booting (I’m far from a netbooting expert).

Thanks for any insight.
