Yes, i had the same problem.
After tcpdump-ing the conversation between the next-client and the
linux-server, i noticed that the kernel-load procedure (?) stops after the
linuxBox sends an ARP-request asking for the hardware address from next. At
this point, nextbox doesnt answer and nfs seems to stop.

I manually added the hw-address of the next-box with
arp -s <next-ip> <xx:xx:xx:....>
this keeps linux quiet with arp-requests
and looks like a workaround.
