 > NWS-3470 has only 8 block dip switches.
 > No.1,2,3 are used to specify console framebuffer (000 means serial console)
 > and No.5 specifies auto boot.

This is the same for the NWS-3410, with switch 4 selecting the OS
booting device (OFF=disk, ON=floppy).

Switch 5 is also useful in recovering a working system where the root
password is unknown. (With the standard single-user trick of
remounting /etc as read-write and moving the password files out of the
way).
