TLDR: Thank you, Jiaxun Yang your changes seem to have fixed it and
thanks to Nick Hudson for a simple to apply patch. Waiting for tests
to complete.

Just a short interim report: I'm currently waiting on 
"./build.sh distribution" with /usr/(src,obj) on NFS to complete. So far
it looks good.

Applied your patch to 11.0 RELEASE, rebuilt GENERIC and it appears that
NFS writes now work correctly at any block size (including _just_ under
the page size). This also seems to have fixed another issue: broken msdos
fs writes. But alas, it appears to break MP. GENERIC with MP has not yet
crashed on me on the Erlite3 (as reported by others), but the patched
as above GENERIC crashes while setting up cpu1. Also, I tried straight
HEAD/20260904130440Z and that seems to work correctly with NFS as well
(it is also UP).

I'm awaiting successful completion of the build, then I can provide a
full report. There are a few more tests I want to run before that,
including MP with HEAD. I really would like MP to work on this ;-)
