The obvious answer is that there’s a bug in the NetBSD R10K support.  My guess is that it doesn’t get tested all that often.

Anyway, a good first crack at figuring out what the bug is would be to know exactly how it crashes.  Can you provide that information?  Be as specific and detailed as possible.
