I recently installed 9.0 on my Qube 2, and initially it kept hanging
due to lack of memory, as someone on this list pointed out.

After adding 1GB of swap and upgrading to 256MB I had no problem with
compiling and installing, and it has been running stable ever since,
sitting at my bookshelf and hosting a small website at
http://www.petrvz.net/cobalt-qube-2/

So I would guess that lack of memory is the problem here.
