from a build of 1.6.2 on my decstation 5000/200 (25MHz R3000):

Build started at: Fri Feb 20 12:24:13 PST 2004
Build finished at: Tue Feb 24 13:06:15 PST 2004

release took roughly another day.

for comparison, my 750MHz athlon:

Build started at: Sat Feb 21 07:17:37 PST 2004
Build finished at: Sat Feb 21 09:45:29 PST 2004

it would be much appreciated. I still use a 5000/240 as my main server
due to its high reliability and ruggedness, but of course any extra
speedup would be appreciated. (even i386 doesn't have ECC error
notification yet.)
