The company has track record of using the myriad of CPU architectures;
68000, 68020, LR33xxx, M88100, R4700, PowerPC403, Vr4300, MMX
Pentinum, and RM5200. The Thin-Star productline is actually consisted
with two processors. Vr4300 for low-end and MMX Pentinum for
high-end. NC200 sold by Tek to NCD happens to have Vr4300 inside.
I think Tek NC has its own OS while NCD Vr4300 does WinCE.

According to the words from Japanese NC maker, WinCE/RDP is a suck,
MetaFrame/ICA is a hack. I just wonder the case the company would
have pursuaded its own technology called WinCenter, GDI to X-protocol
converter.
