Hello,

Has anyone considered porting NetBSD to the NEC MobilePro 800 handheld pc?
It's got an NEC VR4121 processor at 131MHz and 32M of flash. I've seen some
talk about a linux port, but I haven't been able to find anything
substantial.

Replies via email, please; I don't subscribe to port-mips.

hat have ported NetBSD 1.3ish to a target called hpcmips. I don't know if the MobilePro800 is specifically supported by that effort or not. You can find all the information about the various MIPS pdas at http://www.freebsd.org/~imp/pdamips.html which includes links to the NetBSD/hpcmips project. The linked page is in Japanese, but there is an rough draft of an English translation by me off that page. Warner
