Is it really a firmware reprogram floppy?  If so, it's a happy news to
me.  My Millenium PC50 board donated by David Brownlee has one
socketed AMD EEPROM and one 28F020.  The latter may be a programmable
memory.

And do you have ECU, EISA Configuration Utility, to setup installed
EISA devices correctly ? (some Alpha boxes provided such floppies).
