Hello,

has anybody got snapper to work on a PowerBook from around May 2005 or
newer (on current-, 4.99.30)?  Snapper attaches just fine as

  snapper0 at obio0 offset 0x0: irq 30,1,2
  deq0 at ki2c1 Apple Digital Equalizer, addr 0x6a
  audio0 at snapper0: full duplex

, and everything output from cdplay and similar commands looks just
fine, but there is no sound.  This seems to be the same situation as in

.  Does anybody have a clue where to look for the problem?  I have
nothing against fiddling around with the driver, but does anybody have a
hint where to start looking?

(My kernel is essentially GENERIC.)
