althouth there's some irrelevant error message about mbr record during 
sysinst/disklabel, 3.1 runs fine indeed.

The installed system finally booted,
	setenv boot-device ata/ATA-Disk@0:0
	setenv boot-file netbsd
	reset-all
simply did the trick, even with openfirmware's (wrong) real-base & 
load-base default settings.
