That did (most) of the trick!!!!
Now the system do auto-boot... ;-)

Now the only kind missing is that the screen stays 95% pitch-black....
I can see "something" vaguely happing on the LCD... but it not next  
to impossible to read!

Any way to increase the back-light on the LCD using some  
"incantation" of the boot-commands ??
