Originally I was tempted to suggest to try openoffice
under linux emulation.

I tried that some time (more than two years?) ago but the open office
installer did always give up very early.
Now I see that there is not even a linux emulation available for ppc
in pkgsrc anymore, although SuSE is now again supporting ppc-arch.
I am not sure wether already in 9.1. On their web only 10.0 is easy to
find and that one has ppc support.

With emulators/linuxppc I was out of luck even back then and if I
interpret the package name right, this SW is now 6 years old, thus
little likely to be useful today, not providing current libaries etc.

Thus getting ppc support into emul/suse91 would be the first thing.
Unfortunatly I am of no help for that endeavour.

Rudi
