I did some intial hacking on a SPARCbook, mainly adding powerhooks to sd
( at least flush caches before turning the disk off )
So - yes, SPARC laptops aren't exactly mainstream but basically they
have the same problem as Apple laptops and need kernel support for all
the things the APM BIOS does on x86.=20
