The Apple key behaves like alt and alt like the Windows key (which is  
a bit annoying).
There is no "menu" key either.

You could just buy any usb keyboard, but keys might be switched on  
the mac.
Although there might be software to fix that (see on www.macupdate.com).

If you are running X and don't need frequent access to a "real"  
keyboard, for
OpenFirmware and stuff, you might wanna have a look at
Synergy (http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/). I use it to control the PC
(that I mostly use for testing web pages) from Os X and my screen has  
dual input.
But you can pick a vga switch for much cheaper than a KVM.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents... Wait no! Synergy is free (GNU) :)
