I stand corrected:
NFS over TCP:
365682720 bytes transferred in 155.613403 secs (2349944 bytes/sec)
NFS over UDP:
365780992 bytes transferred in 12.886602 secs (28384596 bytes/sec)
I'll stick with UDP for the Mac OS X client which used different
automounter maps anyway.
