 I've succesfully booted from the Netbsd 2.0.2 ISO (burnt in toast with mac files names allowed, renaming the appropriate file as netbsd.gz and putting them at the top of the directory) CD using:-
 
 boot scsi-int/sd@3:,\ofwboot.xcf netbsd.gz
 
 that is without version numbers on the files (opposite to your suggestion) and without the partition number (as per your suggestion).
 
 Installation was also succesful except I don't have no man pages : (
 
 It occasionally autoboots to a blank (black) screen sometime though when booting from the hardrive.
 
 It took me about 24 hours over a week to get this far
