Hey,

as I reported in some older emails.. I think I have a similar problem.
Since I upgraded with a G4 card (7400/400) I noteiced instabilities.
True is too that fiddling with different optimizations options made the
problem come and go with different frequency.
Currently I have a kernel that didn't crash yet when I set the cache to
WT. Disabling the cache helps too. But "full cache" doesn't work, while
it seems to do in MacOS.

I don't remember where kernel optimizations options are set so I don't
know how the current kernel is compiled, but I believe "default".
