I'm trying to get audio set up on an iMac (early 2001).  Has anyone
had any success in doing that?  Is it just a matter of getting the
right devices configured in the kernel?

I'm trying to play an audio cd with cdplay and the cd seems to start
just fine, but there is no sound.
