Why does the screen scroll text so slowly? 

and the netBSD FAQ answare is

"The text console code is not optimized in the GENERIC kernel. There is 
accelerated text console code in NetBSD 1.6 and later, but it is not 
enabled by default. 
You will need to build a new kernel. Add the following line to your  
kernel configuration: 
options OFB_ENABLE_CACHE"

unfortunalty i have no hd space to download src and recompile the 
kernel with OFB_ENABLE_CACHE or other options that make my 4400 text 
consoler "good enought to be used" (now it is too much slow)

does somebody re-compiled the kernel to speedup the text console ?
if so could send me the new Kernel ?

i will recompile by myown as soon as i will get a new bigger HD
(this will happen on 24/12/2005 ....... so it is a long time to wait)
