I think nobody is particularly happy with this - ki2c is a
i2c-controller and what snapper needs to talk to is the mixer device
which is controlled through this i2c-bus. The 'good' solution would be
to attach the mixer separately, as the i2c-device it is, and make
snapper use this one, instead of hogging the bus ( there are other
devices connected to it ).
